BHS Corrugated wins the German Brand Award 2020!
July 28, 2020The Machine Control Center (MCC) from BHS Corrugated was awarded the German Brand Award 2020 in the ‘Brand Communication’ category! The product has received a total of four internationally renowned awards two Red Dot Awards in the categories ‘industrial design’ and ‘interface design’, the winner label of the German Design Awards and the German Brand Award 2020.
A corrugated cardboard system with a strong brand identity was created in partnership with the company UXMA. The project included the design of the structure and housing of the corrugated cardboard system, as well as the development of an intuitive user interface for the entire operator terminal and a uniform design language. The renewed award clearly emphasizes the excellence of the perfect interplay of design, function and ergonomics of the corrugated cardboard system.
The German Brand Award is presented annually by the renowned German Design Council to companies and projects in various industries that stand out due to successful brand management. With 1,200 entries from 14 countries, the award again has an impressive international reach this year. The corrugated board system from BHS Corrugated is one of the 22 projects that were awarded for Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation. This award recognizes the strongest campaigns, concepts and strategies of individual disciplines.
Submissions will be assessed by an independent jury based on the criteria of independence and branding, branding, differentiation from the competition and target group relevance. Brand management takes into account aspects such as sustainability, degree of innovation, continuity and sustainability. Factors such as the design quality of the brand appearance, the homogeneity of the brand experience and economic success also play a decisive role in the judging process.
