America Recycles Day
December 2, 2020America Recycles Day was November 15, 2020. This nationally recognized
day educates and encourages individuals on how to be more mindful of what they
consume, where and how to properly recycle, and to pledge to recycle more and
recycle right in their everyday lives.
Below are some celebration highlights from the U.S. EPA and FBA:
- To kick off America Recycles Week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released an update to a report highlighting the economic benefits of recycling. They also hosted an innovation Fair and held a virtual America Recycles Summit.
- For most of November, FBA worked to celebrate America Recycles Day by sharing facts, videos and how to recycle information for boxes on our social media channels through paid and organic posts. We also created a short video that can be viewed here.
