AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, has released La importancia de los empaques en el e-commerce (The Importance of Packaging in E-commerce) and Matemáticas para la producción de empaques (Packaging Production Math), two new online courses, free to AICC members in Spanish.

The Importance of Packaging in E-commerce, available only in Spanish, helps participants understand the e-commerce process. This course also explains the most used packaging, the trends in personalized packaging, and the challenges that e-commerce logistics presents. The Importance of Packaging in E-commerce was created for directors and managers involved in the sale and design of corrugated packaging.

AICC thanks Enrique Gutiérrez of Corrugados y Especialidades, S.A. de C.V., Estado de México, for his support developing this valuable course.

Packaging Production Math, available in English and Spanish, is a practical guide to how math skills are used in packaging production. Math instructor Greg Davis, refreshes participants’ knowledge of fractions, the use of a tape measure, converting standard and metric measurements to decimals, and estimation of product counts. While this course is not a replacement for a basic math class, it will prepare workers by showing how and where math skills will help them succeed in packaging production.

AICC thanks Juan Javier Gonzalez and Samuel Garcia Gonzalez of Cartro, S.A.P.I. De C.V. for their help translating this course.
