AICC, The Independent Packaging Association, is hosting Best Practices for Flexographic Printing: Raising the Standard, Wednesday, January 23-Thursday, January 24 at the PrintCon Center at Clemson University in Clemson, SC. This course takes the challenges out of high quality flexographic printing on corrugated substrates and combines classroom training with time on press.

Over two days, participants will focus on producing clean solids and line work as well as halftones and spot colors. Many typical troubleshooting issues will be addressed from dot gain and die-cutting to proper graphic design for corrugated. Participants will take these processes back to their home plants by creating Stand Operation Procedures. One Point Lessons and checklists to codify the best practices will help participants learn the concepts more deeply, gain experience building standard words and return to their plants with tangible evidence of what they have learned.

“It’s extremely empowering to get the feedback from experience people in the packaging business from around the country. The hands-on training AICC brings to its seminars and time spent on the machine are priceless. Not to mention the contacts I have made with my peers,” said Sabryna Chase, Operator, Northwest Paper Box Mfrs. Inc.
