Adhesive tape manufacturer Lohmann ranks 16th in the WirtschaftsWoche Ranking “Most Innovative Medium-Sized Companies in Germany 2023.”

Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG, a leading company in adhesive tape technology headquartered in Neuwied, occupies the 16th spot in the prestigious WirtschaftsWoche Ranking “Most Innovative Medium-Sized Companies in Germany 2023.”

For over 40 years, WirtschaftsWoche has annually honored the 100 most innovative medium-sized enterprises in Germany based on their products, research and development, as well as services. This year, Lohmann outperformed 4,000 competitors and secured a place in the top 20 of the esteemed ranking.

The ranking in “Most Innovative Medium-Sized Companies in Germany 2023” is a testament to the continuous commitment of the adhesive specialists to develop innovative and viable solutions for today’s challenges. Recently, Lohmann was recognized for its technology innovation TwinMelt with the Innovation Award of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, a solvent-free coating method that reduces energy consumption per square meter of adhesive tape by 66%. The solvent-free and UV light-activated adhesive tapes of the UV-LUX product line also received this award. The company’s latest developments focus on renewable resources: today, 50% of the adhesive of the DuploCOLL ECO adhesive tape series is bio-based.
